The company explained that it was a tough decision to shutter the app, but Google wants to invest time in other, more wide-reaching, mapping projects. For users who are still relying on My Tracks and would want to have their data in the app, Google is giving the option of exporting the data to an external drive or to Google Drive.Google announced that after April 30th, one of its activity tracking apps, called My Tracks, will no longer be available.
